Shipping & Delivery Policy

Navyug — JNV Andaman Alumni Association ("Navyug", "we", "us") operates a digital alumni platform. We do not sell or ship any physical goods. This policy explains how digital services and any future physical items are delivered to you.

1. Digital services

  • Membership activation: once your payment is successfully captured by Razorpay and your account has been approved by a batch coordinator, your membership benefits become available immediately on the Platform.
  • Donation receipts: an email acknowledgement is sent to your registered email address typically within a few minutes of a successful payment, and at most within 24 hours.
  • Event participation: a confirmation of your event registration is shown on the event page and emailed to you immediately on successful payment.
  • Fundraiser contribution: your contribution appears against the fundraiser as soon as Razorpay confirms the payment.

2. 80G / tax receipts

Where Navyug is authorised to issue tax-exempt receipts (such as under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961), the receipt will be emailed to the donor's registered email within 15 business days of the successful donation. Validity and eligibility depend on the registration status held by Navyug at the time of donation.

3. Physical items (if any)

Navyug does not currently ship physical goods. If, in the future, we offer physical items such as alumni merchandise or printed event kits, the following will apply:

  • Items will be shipped only to addresses within India unless otherwise specified.
  • Estimated dispatch time is 7–10 business days after payment confirmation, with delivery typically completed in another 5–10 business days, depending on the destination pincode.
  • A tracking number, where available, will be emailed to the registered email address.
  • Any specific shipping charges, customs duties, or delivery timelines will be displayed at checkout for that item.

4. Delayed or failed delivery

If a digital service is not activated within 24 hours of a successful payment, or a physical item is not received within the timelines stated above, please contact us with your Razorpay payment ID at navyug.andaman@gmail.com. We will investigate and update you within 3 business days.

5. Force majeure

Delivery timelines may be impacted by events beyond our reasonable control such as natural disasters, courier strikes, government restrictions, or outages of third-party services (including Razorpay or email providers). In such cases we will make reasonable efforts to communicate the delay and resume services as quickly as possible.
